According to reports reaching Kpooka Mediaa reporters that a popular young man named Abraham Olomoro also known as Oromo was beaten black and blue by officers of the Nigerian police force Bomadi division violation of the federal government directives on curfew.
According to reports making round town that Olomo was going home yesterday with his female friend before he was stopped by the men of the police where he resisted arrest and the men of the police pounced on him and took him to the station.
The further report said that the young man was beaten to the extent that he couldn’t know himself before the men of the police took him to the Bomadi General hospital for treatment.
On reaching the hospital the doctor on duty couldn’t attend to him but to refer him to another hospital outside Bomadi.
Speaking to newsmen on a telephone conversation the Bomadi community chairman described the incident as unfortunate and call for calm among the angry youths.
Also, the president of the Bomadi federated community sad has initially written to the Dss and the local government chairman of the high handedness of the Nigeran police force over the enforcement of the COVID 19 curfews in the town.
As at the time of filing this reporting effort to reach the divisional police officer to hear from him was not possible.
Olomo has been rushed out of town still in a coma as reported.
